We do not like to look back, but when it’s progression and real growth you like to compare the two and what you did to change it. We believe one is capable of doing more than what they actually think they know.
Fresh out of high school starting college I was so lost and confused on what I wanted to do, all I felt like I had was the ambition to build a business. These ideas were always shut down cuz “it’s not a real job”, “it won’t get you no where”, or “how you gonna support a family with that?”. My motivation was zero, and those words legitimately made me throw AkawA away. I knew what I had and I came back like a yoyo. 3 years later had no reference, had the knowledge about what I’m doing, with a video camera and with a microphone, I had myself and the ride or dies pushing me to just do it. Till this day people say this brand is trash, sorry but this isn’t a brand nor a lifestyle; it has become a movement for the ones who were outcast, kicked when they were down, lost when times were tough, the ones who never had the opportunity this gave me hope as it should to all. an organization accepting donations to give to the ones in need from early teens to young adults who either are confused on their goals after high school or college, and teens seeking help with their mental health stability. With these donations we will provide guides, create recreational events and naturally give power to these individuals to open up with comfort and share their story in private or publically to our staff.
